"Pink Elephant & Friends" and "Flowery Lion & Friends"

Hello hello! Whilst in Sweden recently I was commissioned by a local Client to create a set of paintings for her twin grand-daughters. The brief was to make two similar, but not identical, motifs in typically 'girly' colours, with a mix of little animals, mushrooms, flowers etc. Here's what I came up with..

I am so thrilled to announce that I have just delivered two pieces

of art to the divine 'Papier d'Amour' shop in Double Bay.

One colourful & girly version of 'Fantasyland'

and one aaarrrgh fierce & fabulous 'Pirateship',

are now hanging in the store, ready for their new homes.

'Kate & Lucinda's Fantasyland'

This 'Fantasyland' painting has been made for the Sydney
family who commissioned me to convert their home-office
into a warm & cozy playroom for their two young girls.
The painting is to hang above a bookshelf on the wall
facing the mural I painted earlier this year, and has
been done in harmony with the colours and general theme.

Though there are still a few final touches and key
purchases to be made before the decor is complete,
the room is really starting to come together.
I will share more once everything is done.

Rose Bay Playroom & Mural

This mural was applied in what used to be a home office,

and now is the new playroom of two gorgeous little Sydney-siders.

The theme for the mural was set in consultation with the children
and we agreed on a suitable colour scheme.


The brief asked me to consider affordable, flexible items
that would soften the room whilst still being practical & simple.

This is the design proposal the Client decided to go with.

Update upon completion.
