In a very beautiful part of Sweden called 'Dalarna'
lives a young boy (7 months) called Ted, and this
is one of the two paintings that his parents ordered
for him whilst I was visiting Sweden this January.
Title: "Ted's Swedish Summerland"
Date: January, 2010
They ordered two landscape motifs - one Summer with
typical Swedish detail and one Winter (to be completed).

This one was made for a very special little boy in Sweden. I painted it on site whilst we were up there over December and January.
The Fantasyland paintings are always fun as they contain so many personal detail. E.g that sailing boat is a copy of their real-life one, and the tennis ball tree symbolizing his fathers great interest in tennis etc.
